Onyourmarkgetsetgo!

"It's time to race!" Lucy announced, and lined up near the bushes on one end of the yard. "Onyourmarkgetsetgo!" she shouted and took off running toward the other end of the yard.

I jogged after her to the other end. "I wiinnnn!" she beamed. But her celebratory cry bled right into another "Onyourmarkgetsetgo!" and off we took the other direction. This time the dogs joined in.



After 15-20 more trips I tapped on the window and had Julie join us. I thought she'd get to run a couple times with us. More like a couple DOZEN.

"Onyourmarkgetsetgo!"



Lucy ran us ragged.



On about the 40th trip I half expected to see her pull out a stopwatch, record our time and then ask us to pee in a cup.
