Abbreviated camping...

So when I said we were ready for round two last weekend, I may have lied. The spirit was at least willing, but turns out that the flesh was weak. Due to a bad back and forgotten air mattress, not to mention a crying baby and tired 2 year old, we came home after only one night. We certainly enjoyed hanging out with the Madsen cousins and wished we could have stayed longer. It was short, but sweet.





Penny is always having a good time, as long as she can access her toes.



Lucy enjoyed using Lincoln Logs to build cabins with her cousins.



Penny also enjoyed the attention she got from some of her cousins. Here she is with Rose.

She's also a big fan of the being carried part of the hike. I would be too if I could only find someone willing to carry me. Grandpa Madsen saved the day!
