Myke's family has a great tradition of decorating gingerbread houses the weekend after Thanksgiving. We love it because it means that even if we don't get to see everyone for a turkey dinner, at least we know there is a good chance we'll see them soon after.
It is easy to see why Penny likes decorating gingerbread houses.
The hardest part was just convincing her to put one or two candies on her house instead of in her mouth. We succeeded once or twice.
Lucy was a more disciplined decorator. Her only vice was the frosting; which she liked to lick off her fingers.
Both girls really like hanging out with their cousin, Jarom. He is fun to hold and they love sticking their fingers in his binky.
A little chair time was needed while they recovered from the sugar and the sticky fingers.
Penny never really managed to leave her house alone for long. It was just too delicious.
